We are elated to welcome Rachel Kulkarni to the BOLD team as our newest MBA intern!
Rachael is a consummate professional whose knack for finding creative solutions for businesses is rivaled only by her adventurous spirit. She is an MBA student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Center for Brand and Product Management. For the past 18 years, she has worked in nonprofit marketing and development out of Boulder, Colorado.
We wanted to get to know more about Rachel in her own words. Here's what she had to say...
What’s your home town?
I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. I lived in Colorado for the last 18 years before returning to Madison for graduate school.
Why Bold Retail?
I chose Bold Retail for my MBA internship because of the enormous talent and skillset of the staff. I know I can learn and grow with this team of highly-specialized experts in eCommerce.
First Amazon.com purchase? What does this say about you?
My first purchase on Amazon.com was a wooden pasta fork. I bought it for my mom after she complained of searching for one in all the kitchen specialty stores she could find without luck. I love helping people find solutions for their problems and will gladly do what I can to make someone smile.
One Hundred Years of Solitude, Gabriel Garcia Marquez
What’s your favorite place?
Toss-up between Rocky Mountain National Park and Coronado Island, California
I’m happiest when I’m…
Relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book after a day of checking things off the to-do list.
People would be surprised to know that…
I once circumnavigated the world on an ocean liner.
