Welcome Melinda Clark - VP Strategic Solutions

I'm happy to welcome Melinda Clark to the BOLD! team as Vice President, Strategic Solutions.

Melinda understands how to collaborate with brands to develop compelling client solutions and seamlessly reach shoppers throughout their path to purchase. Her strategic insights and healthy relationships are built on more than 14 years of client development, strategic planning, and digital and marketing experience. Melinda's work with top brands and retailers to develop disruptive shopper and e-commerce marketing campaigns has delivered quantifiable results.

Here's a bit more about Melinda in her own words...

What's your home town?

Sioux City, IA and for those who are familiar (aka Sewer City) :D

Why did you decide to join Bold Retail?

I had previously worked with Karla White, for whom I have the utmost respect! She told me about the opportunity, and the minute I met the team I instantly felt, 'these are my kind of people.'

What's the first thing you ever bought on Amazon.com? What does that say about you?

I can't even remember the first thing I bought on Amazon.com. I think the better question is, what DON'T you buy on Amazon.com. I'm a total junkie, from protein shakes to beauty products. I'm super fascinated to see how the commerce landscape plays out from Amazon.com, grocery pick-up, and delivery. I use it all to understand what real customer experiences are like in our ever-changing landscape.

What's your favorite book?

Brene Brown's Call to Courage...I LOVE it!

What's your favorite place?

Anywhere on a beach! I love Costa Rica and St. Lucia thus far, but hope to do more beach traveling.

"I'm happiest when I'm..."

...pushing the status quo, evolving, and learning. I'm a student of life, and I feel happy and complete when I'm being challenged to solve problems in new ways. I also love to collaborate with people.

"People would be surprised to know that..."

...I taught Jazzercise for 17 years and not once wore leg warmers!
