Welcome Madelyn Smith - Manager, Campaigns

We are excited to welcome Madelyn Smith to the BOLD team as our newest Campaigns Manager!

Madelyn’s background includes managing and handling paid search/social campaigns, project management, and analytics. She also worked at Hallmark Cards as a Marketing, Business, and Analytics Intern and New Heights Church as a Female Pastoral Intern. This Texan-native loves numbers, mentoring high school students, and the great outdoors.

Here's a bit more about Madelyn in her own words...

What's your hometown?

Katy, Texas, a suburb outside of Houston. I also grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, so I’ve got a bit of cajun in me, too!

Why did you decide to join BOLD Strategies?

The data-driven solutions, end-to-end services, and employee culture intrigued me at first! I have always wanted to learn more about eCommerce as well, and I can tell BOLD strives for innovation and excellence in the industry. The core values sealed the deal for me!

What's the first thing you ever bought on Amazon.com? What does that say about you?

I had to go back and look for this one. It was a hot pink carrying case for my Flip Video Camera in 2010. This says I have had an excitement for capturing and telling stories from a young age. My outgoing nature always wanted to interview people and constantly video things so I could remember moments later on. Either that, or I had a short-lived vlogging career before it was cool.

What’s your favorite book?

The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom.

What’s your favorite place?

Washington, D.C. The rich history, beautiful architecture, and unending things to do excite me so much! No matter how many times I go, I always want to go back.

“I’m happiest when I’m…”

…spending time with people I love, especially when we are sharing a good meal. I’m an avid foodie and an extrovert, so putting the two together always refreshes me!

“People would be surprised to know that…”

I really enjoy painting! It’s a relaxing yet stimulating hobby of mine that I love but don’t do enough.
