Known for its range of vibrant, nutrient-rich tropical frozen fruit products, Pitaya has seen impressive results, especially in performance media, since partnering with BOLD.

From June to August 2024, Pitaya achieved remarkable gains across their digital advertising efforts compared to the previous 3 months, including a 52-percent increase in ad-attributed revenue and a 25-percent increase in return on ad spend (RoAS)!

Driving Online Growth with Walmart OGP

As a frozen food brand, Pitaya’s online sales are a strong indication of growing demand for Online Grocery Pickup (OGP). With BOLD’s focused performance media strategy, Pitaya has leveraged Walmart's platform to increase online visibility and engagement.

Walmart’s online grocery pickup service is a crucial part of the grocery retail landscape, with an estimated 55% of online shoppers utilizing it last year (2023). For frozen brands like Pitaya, OGP offers a unique opportunity to convert digital shoppers while driving in-store traffic.

Our targeted campaigns on Walmart's platform helped Pitaya tap into this growth, emphasizing the ease of picking up frozen products like Pitaya’s smoothie packs and ready-to-eat smoothie bowls. Ad placements appeal to shoppers using Walmart's grocery services and enable Pitaya to leverage the relationship between online grocery efforts and physical store visits to increase e-commerce and in-store sales.
